My Background

I am a trained mediator and I am registered with the Family Mediatiors Association, the College of Mediators and the Family Mediation Council.

I completed my family mediation training with the Family National Mediation and I am working towards my accreditation.

I came to mediation after working as a family law solicitor in Spain, where
I witnessed first-hand how painful and overwhelming separation and divorce can be and how deeply they can affect children.

You can’t change the past but
you can start now and change the future

Alongside my legal and mediation work, I have trained in Human Biography - a kind of therapy that explores emotional patterns through the lens of childhood experiences. I am also currently training in Family Systemic Therapy, which is a therapy tool that helps people to understand the complex interactions within their family system.

These approaches have enriched my understanding of the emotional complexities that accompany the breakdown of relationships, and they complement my legal expertise and mediation training.

Why I chose
family mediation

Traditional court proceedings are often rigid and adversarial, and they tend to create a sense of winners and losers. They can leave people feeling powerless and generate outcomes that further fuel conflict, especially for children, who often suffer deeply from the decisions made.

You can’t change the past but you can start now and change the future

I was drawn to Family Mediation because it offers a more constructive path and allows people to make informed decisions, putting the welfare of their children at the centre of every conversation. Mediation helps families put the past behind them and look to the future, reaching lasting agreements that benefit everyone.
